Navigating the legal system can be difficult and time-consuming for most people. We also understand completing legal forms can be tedious. We are here to help. We offer document preparation services to pro se litigants.

Per Florida Bar regulations, we cannot provide you with legal advice or legal representation under any circumstances. Should you need legal advice and/or representation after services are rendered, we can refer you to an attorney.

C&S Virtual Paralegals fully understands navigating the legal system can be difficult, confusing, and time-consuming for most people who are not familiar with legal terminology, the courts, or the legal system. We have worked with alongside attorneys for many years. Based on our experience we are aware that finding an experienced, responsive, trustworthy attorney is unwieldly and is not always an affordable option. We also understand reading and completing  legal documents can be tedious as accuracy is needed.

C&S Virtual Paralegals are here to help. Our non-attorney legal document preparation services are available to pro se litigants at a fraction of the cost of an any attorney’s retainer fee. We offer legal document preparation services in the areas of family law and bankruptcy law.

Within the area of family law, a legal document preparer will assist with forms associated with the following:
  • Uncontested and Contested Divorce

  • Petition for Dissolution

  • Modifications for Child Support

  • Name Changes

  • Guardianship

  • Petitions for Paternity

Please remember it is the responsibility of the pro se party to provide the document preparer with those forms that reflect your situation.

 

Within the area of bankruptcy law, C&S Virtual Paralegals’ document preparer will assist with forms associated with Chapter 7 only. Please remember to provide the document preparer with the respective forms and your personal corresponding documents. An example of corresponding documents would include:

  • Paycheck stubs;

  • Bank statements;

  • Tax returns;

  • Driver’s license, etc.

Our document preparer service is completed remotely. The legal document preparer you are assigned to will review and confirm all court forms with customers, including all information you provide in writing. Once all information is confirmed, we will schedule an additional meeting to review the draft with a seamless turnaround time depending on the complexity of the information provided. Please note customers are responsible for selecting the required forms pertaining to their legal matter in addition to paying the court filing fees. Per Florida Bar regulations, document preparers cannot file any documents on behalf on the pro se litigant. Should a pro se litigant need assistance, the local county courthouse’s self-help department can assist you with selecting the appropriate forms.

C&S Virtual Paralegals exist to help the general public when life happens and retaining an attorney is not a feasible option. We have created a virtual system to provide customers with affordable document preparer services in a seamless, responsive, and efficient manner at a fraction. Our document preparers are knowledgeable, diligent, organized, skilled, and reliable. We are passionate about helping our customers and community when difficult life choices arise that may affect one’s quality of life as these challenges are not easy to navigate through.
